TUFF 73- FAST,YELLOW AND LOUD

Hello All,

I know its been awhile since I have been on 1320x- had to upgrade my computer and I have had alot of viruses too! And life has been very busy as well!

Its now the day after race day and what a day it was!

temperature got to 40 degrees celsius by late afternoon- but the meeting went on and I'm happy to say that Tuff 73 and I came runner up in our bracket ( 10 -11:99 secs).

Well what can I say...... I had a fantastic time. Tuff and I were back together racing after our last run in January 2009 ( Yes I had to let hubby race a few times- that's what happens when you share a racing car!).

I was determined to go rounds and go rounds I did!

There was a turnout of 150 cars competing in 7 brackets from front engine dragsters to later model cars as well.

Well had an absolute Blast!!! I was only a spectator, but the girls did really well!!!

First congratulations to Terri Sander and Mamas Toy- She won the Super Street Final in her Rover, her opponent was Mardi Chapman another female racer, that's a Win and Runner up in an all GIRLS final!

Tru Blue Drag Racing Championships- Australia Day Weekend - Sun 25th Jan 2009.

Tuff and I had some fun this week end, and it went a little like this.................................

I raced with two other female racers, Jacqui and Leanne Braggs ( yes there are two Leanne B's in this world! hahahaha).

There were approx 85 cars in our class ranging from 7 secs to 12 sec cars.
