1320X from Camo Man
What an awesome event! We had a big day for lots of reasons, but want to send a special shout out and Thanks to Nate, Steven, Rob (I'll never forget your name again), Adam, Charles, H&H Trailers and the Millers, we had a blast and really appreciate the event. Sincerley hope that it is the first of many to come at MIR! Also, thanks for the photo ops, I know you were busy and it was very cool of you to take the time. And for the 'John Hancocks' on my picture, I have added it to my wall of racing.
We were disappointed not to have our grudge match with Smitty, not sure he's just not scared, we hear he's claiming NOS is Sissy spray.....everyone knows it's the biggest bang for your buck, so he MUST just be scared.....and they say us southerner's are slow. (pun intended)
On a serious note, would liked to have met you Smitty and CC (Heather), but glad to hear you got your motor in and sorry for your misfortune on the thoroughfare. (Not sure whose at fault, fingers are crossing paths, but at least you didn't forget to strap the car down and sounds like it ran well).
It was also an awesome opportunity for me to meet in person with a bunch of my fellow 1320er's. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you Rob, Ray "Hollywood" Johnson, Dan, Al, Terry,(he drive,s a FORD, but he,s OK) Wheels Up Racing and Joey and his team who worked all day, we were parked right beside HIM and everyone else (no disrespect if I didn't get your name it was a big day)!

I think we (and that means every supporter of this site) are on the right track. Racing is a tight knit community and I love hanging out with everyone! Thank you very much for the kind words man.

We were fortunate enough to win the east coast Gassers Eliminator at the Geezers at the Grove on 9-7-08 with our Willys Gasser. Hope to get to meet you sometime in the near future. John

We finally got the Willys dow the track on Sunday and ran a 6.88 at 154 mph. That's not a mistake...154mph..we were running 180 at the 1/8th. I hope we can do this again soon!

So that was your Camio . . . When I saw it on the track I turned to my wife and said, look at that Camio it has stickers all over the body. She corrected me and said it was the paint job. lol It did reminded me of all of those traveling stickers that people use to stick all over there car when they visited different places. Even reminded me of my paisley print shorts that I wore in the 50's. Oh my, am I dating myself.
So a little 6 hour trip up to the Valley is a stretch for you. Gee, we did 12 hours down to Ridgeway VA to get on the dyno and then 5 1/2 hours up to MIR and another 6 hours back to CT and you can't do 6. And to think I probably have 20 years on you. So come on up to the Valley sometime and have some fun.
All kidding aside, sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you as we had our hands full with a junk performing car.
